Bearing properties

  • TEF-MET®/B is a versatile, corrosion-resistant dry sliding bearing with PTFE sliding layer. Therefore, no lubrication is necessary. However, additional lubrication is possible in principle!

Mounting advise

  • housing Installation chamfer, approx. 1.5 mm x 15 to 45°.
  • shaft Installation chamfer, 5 mm x 15°, edges rounded.
  • installation mandrel It is advisable to use a suitable installation mandrel. It may be necessary to grease the outer surfaces during installation.
  • glue The adhesive must not touch the sliding surface.
